Peter Dean, Born in 1939
British actor Peter Dean is best remembered for his role as Pete Beale from EastEnders, Sgt. Jack Wilding in Woodentop and Jeff Bateman in Coronation Street. Although Peter’s biggest break has been EastEnders, he also has starred in Law and Order, Murder by Decree and Shoestring.
Peter’s character on EastEnders was killed off after his contract was terminate by the producers due to their differences. After leaving the show, he tried setting up a production company, but the idea did not pan out. His TV credits since then, have been far and few.
