Little Richard, the musician who gave us hits like “Long Tall Sally” and “Good Golly Miss Molly,” was actually born as Richard Penniman and once lived in this Lafayette Square Spanish Revival-style home in Los Angeles. Richard’s former property has now been sold off for nearly $1.9 million. He had bought the home in 1950s for his mother, but it became an “open house” of sorts for entertainers like Etta James, Jackie Williams, and James Brown, who would often visit. Richard even got married to Ernestine Campbell in this 3,300 square foot, 4 bedroom house. You could say that there is a LOT of history to this real estate property.
