She made a mark on TV after that television show, and she would later appear in a few more others, like The Flying Nun, The Girl with Something Extra, and Sybil. The actress conquered films after having a successful TV career, and won two Academy Awards, which sealed her status as one of Hollywood’s greatest actresses. Some of her most notable films are Steel Magnolias, Kiss Me Goodbye, Murphy’s Romance, Mrs. Doubtfire, and Forrest Gump. She got her Oscars Best Actress trophies from her films Places in the Heart and Norma Rae. Now 71, there is no stopping Sally from continuing her passion, she still acts on stage, television, and in movies up to this day.
