Luxurious Mansions of Golden Age Celebrities
Smokey Robinson, 78 years old – Encino, ~ $8.75 million
In 2002, Smokey Robinson, the Motown legend, sold off his mansion located in Encino for $2.3 million after living a good 10 years in it. The same property has now undergone an expansion and massive renovations and is again listed by its present owners for a whopping $8.75 million. The entire 10,600 square foot main residence now sits on a 1.54-acre patch of land and comes with an added guest house, a spa, swimming pool and tall matured trees. The exterior of the house gives a very colonial feel although the interiors have a very modernist vibe with its predominantly white decor. The main house has a library, a home theater, 7 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms and 2 powder rooms. Any takers?
