Of course, everyone knows Brooke Shields as the teenaged vixen who starred in The Blue Lagoon and various other movies in the 70s and 90s. Despite her risqué reputation, she went on a long-acting hiatus to earn her degree from Princeton in the early 80s.
In the late 90s, she headlined her own sitcom with NBC called Suddenly Susan. Now 55 years old, she is a well-known animal rights activist and a vegan, and the mother of two. Brooke is happily married to Chris Henchy, a prominent producer, since 2001.
