The late Gianni Versace was the owner of the fabulous Casa Casuarina in Miami. The 19,000-square-foot estate has 10 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, an elaborate courtyard, and even a pool lined with 24-karat gold. It was listed for $125 million and marketed as the most expensive house ever sold in Miami. However, it fetched no more than $47 million. The house has since been turned into a boutique hotel, and you can even stay in a fabulously done up room for as cheap as $749 a night. A swim in the massive pool is highly recommended, as it is actually made up of thousands of tiny tiles, some of which are real gold!
