John Roberts is currently serving as the Chief Justice of the United States and the 17th to serve in his esteemed position. Despite being a well-known conservative, Chief Justice Roberts has been making headlines of late as a critic of President Donald Trump. His political leanings notwithstanding, the Chief Justice’s finances have come under fire over the years. It was even widely reported that he had purchased 2 large homes on Hupper Island off the coast of Maine. The second and larger of which is said to be mortgaged for $1 million and previously hosted the TV show This Old House in the 90s.
