Robby Krieger has built one of the most unique properties on this list. The Doors guitarist had a geodesic dome treehouse built on his property in Bel Air, southern California. The rest of the home features things such as a personal recording studio and lots of memorabilia from his days with The Doors. The decor, Krieger says, was mostly picked out by his wife, and that he was just happy having a recording studio away from his main house. His tree house is also the focus of his neighborss envy, as after he built the structure, others living on his street start emulating him and building a treehouse of their own!
