John Madden had dreams of joining the NFL, but an injury led him to a teaching degree and then a successful coaching career. He would become the Oakland Raiders head coach in 1969, the youngest ever in NFL history. Unfortunately, John passed away in 2021, right after Christmas, at the age of 85. At the time of his passing, he was worth a whopping $200 million. After retiring from coaching in ’69, he began a broadcasting career that got him $8 million a year. He also earned $150 million from EA Sports to use his name and likeness in their video games.
