Queen Elizabeth II is not the only member of her family whose life has been made into a TV series or movie; there is also the late Princess of Wales, Diana. For Oliver Hirschbiegel’s 2013 movie Diana, actress Naomi Watts had the privileged of playing the ‘People’s Princess’. Although the actress and the makeup crew was able to copy the late princess’ looks, the film and Watts performance was called dull and pointless by critics. The film depicted not Diana’s entire life story, but only the last two years of her life.
