Steve McQueen
The “King of Cool” that is what a lot of people called actor Steve McQueen, because of his cool demeanor in many of his hit films such as The Thomas Crown Affair, Bullitt, Papillon, and The Getaway. The actor usually had a tough guy persona on screen, which could have come naturally to him, given his military service. McQueen enlisted in the US Marine Corps in 1947. Before being honorably discharged, the actor is said to have saved the lives of five of his fellow Marines during an Arctic exercise. Turns out McQueen is not just a hero in movies, but in real life, as well!
