CELEBRITY HOMES: AN INSIDE & OUTSIDE LOOK
Robert Redford: Undisclosed Amount, Utah
When Robert Redford passed by Utah from Los Angeles to Colorado to go to college, he felt an affinity to the semi-wilderness he saw and he went back to camp there. Feeling completely at home, he decided to buy a piece of land, two acres at first, and as his career in Hollywood took off, he bought more land, until one day he decided he wanted to buy a ‘canyon’. Along with building his home, Redford also built the Sundance Ski Resort, home of the Sundance Art Institute. The entire Sundance grounds can be described as rustic, a mixture of modern and old. The place features Redford’s huge collection of Native American art pieces. Redford’s own ranch within the grounds is estimated to be 5,500-acre big.
