CELEBRITY HOMES: AN INSIDE & OUTSIDE LOOK

Celebrities are known for their lavish and luxurious lifestyles. With a bank account like theirs, who wouldn’t want to spend on the nicest things that the world has to offer? Special attention, it seems, is given to housing situations when you’re rich.

Most of the famous people we know live in huge and upscale houses that give a whole new meaning to modern and luxurious living. After all, who wouldn’t want to live in such opulence! Let’s take a look at some of the biggest names in the industry and their pricey abodes that they call “home”.

Pat Sajak: ~ $1.27 Million, Severna Park, Maryland

Pat Sajak’s career on television began by delivering the weather news, but he hit the jackpot when he was chosen to host the long running game show, Wheel of Fortune.  With a current net worth of $45 million, it’s not surprising that Sajak owns not one, but two homes.  He has his home base in Los Angeles, which is of course, near his work.  And he also bought a new house in Severna Park, Maryland, which he probably goes to when he wants to just relax and enjoy nature.  Sajak wants to maintain his privacy, which is probably why not much is known about the new house.

Vanna White: ~ $47.5 million, Beverly Hills

Vanna White is a very familiar face on television, since she has been a hostess of the long-running game show Wheel of Fortune for more than 30 years.  She got married in 1990 to restaurant owner, George Santo Pietro, and the couple soon bought a lot in Beverly Hills to be the site of their future home.  The once empty lot soon became the location of a mansion that’s said to be 14,554 square-feet big.  The home includes 8 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a wine cellar, a spa, a gym, a breathtaking pool, and a vineyard!  The vineyard is said to produce its own wine, hence the wine cellar to store them.

Phil McGraw, 68 years old – Beverly Hills, ~ $6.25 million

Phil McGraw is a man better known as “Dr. Phil” and has been seen on TV ever since his early days on The Oprah Winfrey Show, later branching out and starring in his much-watched show Dr. Phil. Would you believe that he’s so wealthy, he owns not one but 3 mansions in Beverly Hills alone (one worth $12 million and another worth $16.5 million). That was before he decided to sell one smaller house, in which his son lived, for $6.25 million. The 2006-built, 6,980 square foot, 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom home was purchased by the McGraws in 2007, and it comes with a chef’s kitchen, sweeping stairwell, outdoor entertainment area and a pool with resort-like spa.
