British audiences know Peter Kay as the funny guy on the telly. He is an actor, stand-up comic and comedy writer, who has written and acted in plenty of TV programs and movie projects, and he also has 3 books under his belt. His career jumpstarted when he won the 1997 Channel 4 contest So You Think You’re Funny and the very next year, he was nominated for the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Awards. Recently, Peter Kay has kept away from the television but was spotted out and about in London, looking visibly slimmer than before.
