Richard Keith (Keith Thibodeaux) – Playing Christian Music
Richard Keith, whose real name is Keith Thibodeaux, has had an early start in his musical and acting career. By the wee age of 3, he was already skilled in playing the drums and he toured along with an orchestra called the Horace Heidt Orchestra. When he turned 5, his life forever changed, as he was cast as Little Ricky in the TV sitcom, I Love Lucy.
The part was playing Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz’s son in the show. As Keith’s original last name, Thibodeaux, which is Cajun French, was hard to pronounce, Arnaz decided to give him the screen name ‘Richard Keith’. After Hollywood, Keith joined the Christian rock band, David and the Giants, and currently manages Ballet Magnificat!, a Christian ballet company.
