These Child Stars Are All Grown Up Now
Diana Serra Cary – Happily Retired
The name of film actress Diana Serra Cary may not be very familiar because she gained fame using her screen name, Baby Peggy. Cary is one of the few surviving actors of the silent film era in Hollywood, and at an early age of 6 she has already made 150 or more silent comedy short films. If you are surprised at this fact, the explanation is that she was discovered at the age of 18 months! Cary’s fame were limited to her childhood years, and retirement came early because the actress came to hate acting due to the harsh working environment she was exposed to, as a child.
