Ted Danson has been married twice, and his second marriage was to Casey Coats from 1977 to 1993. The reason why Casey Coats filed for divorce was due to an alleged affair Danson had with actress Whoopi Goldberg. It was considered as one of the costliest divorces in Hollywood at the time, in which Danson had to shell out an estimated $30 million in the divorce settlement.
