As far as the tech world is concerned, Jeff Bezos and his wife, author MacKenzie Bezos were a real success story. That is until their divorce lawyers announced that they were working on dissolving their union after 25 years of marriage. The news has since been met with shock and disbelief as the couple has always shown unity in their many endeavors, even recently announcing $2-billion funding to various nonprofit charities. It has been speculated that the divorce is due to Jeff’s infidelity, though both camps have been largely mum about what’s been happening. In April 2019, the couple’s divorce settlement proceedings finally came to an end, with MacKenzie walking away with $36 billion, making her the 3rd richest woman in the world.
