Patrick ‘Pat’ Mahomes and Patrick Mahomes II at Age 23
Pat Mahomes in a former baseball pitcher who played in Major League Baseball between 1992 and 2003 for various teams such as the New York Mets, Pittsburgh Pirates, Minnesota Twins, Texas Rangers, Boston Red Sox, and the Chicago Cubs. Although he has retired from actively playing the sport, he did take to the field again in 2009 playing in the independent American Association games. Ensuring that the family name stays associated with sports, his son, Patrick Mahomes II plays professional baseball in the NFL, being the star quarterback for there Kansas City Chiefs and is doing very well for himself. Clearly, the apple hasn’t fallen far from the tree.
