Doris Day – PNEUMONIA
Doris day is considered a legend in showbiz, having had a long career in acting and singing, but she was also a passionate animal activist. The 97-year old was in fighting shape, even with her advanced age, but the official cause of her death was declared to be a fatal bout of pneumonia. She passed away peacefully on 13th May 2019, surrounded by her close friends, and this was confirmed by the Doris Day Animal Foundation. As per the late actress’s last wishes, she did not want a funeral nor a memorial service, as the idea of death made her uncomfortable and she did not want to talk about it.
