Dick Clark – HEART ATTACK
By hosting the TV show American Bandstand from 1956 until it’s final episode in 1989, radio and TV personality Dick Clark introduced many Americans to Rock and Roll. His show gave huge names in music, like Steve Wonder, Prince and Madonna their first break. In his later years, his health suffered as he developed diabetes and heart disease, but he kept up with his appearances. At the age of 82, he passed away in 2012 after having undergone a routine surgery for his enlarged prostate.
