Anissa Jones – DRUG OVERDOSE
Anissa Jones’ Hollywood life story is a sad one. She began her acting career at the young age of 6, appearing in a breakfast cereal commercial. After 2 years, Jones got the biggest break of her career when she was chosen to play the character of Ava Elizabeth ‘Buffy’ Patterson-Davis in the hit sitcom Family Affair. In the TV show, Jones’ character had a doll she always had with her called ‘Mrs. Beasley’. Mattel saw a profitable business opportunity and started selling the doll, making it a best-seller in North America. She eventually quit Hollywood to focus on school, but later dropped out. Jones died of an accidental overdose when she was only 18, with the coroner who had examined her body, reported it as a “severe drug overdoses.”
