Even a legendary actor like Sean Connery needs to find some peace and quiet once in a while and he did so in a quaint little Irish retreat in Bray, in which he lived from 1975 to 1978. With 6 bedrooms, the Violet Hill House was originally built in 1868 and is surrounded by 3.5 acres of green land, which is surely a sight for sore eyes.
The house itself has imposing marble pillars at the entrance, has a very old world charm, and is filled with antique paintings, furniture, art, silverware, and rugs. In fact, when the house was sold off, a whopping 750 individual pieces of antiques were auctioned off too.
