CELEBRITY HOMES: AN INSIDE & OUTSIDE LOOK
Anderson Cooper: Unknown Value, Trancoso, Brazil
Cooper was on a holiday with his partner Benjamin and their friend TV host Andy Cohen, when they chanced upon the little hamlet of Trancoso in Brazil in 2013. Within a day, he was day-dreaming about having a holiday home in that small village which still has 500-year-old structures and lies close to a 16th-century church.
Cooper’s luxury vacation home was built from the ground up by hotelier Wilbert Das, and now the 4-building property is known as Casa Anderson. The 2 separate guest bungalows are done up fabulously, and the main residence is built on wooden slits which also offer a shaded seating area underneath it. The free-form swimming pool in the back is surrounded by trees and shrubs and looks like a little jungle.
