When famous celebrities get married and have children, people cannot help but expect that their offspring will eventually inherit their good looks. Of course, it is to be expected as well that these well-known parents would also pass on their vast wealth, especially when they reach the age of retirement. A sort-of “passing the torch”, especially if their kids also inherited the talents that made them famous in the first place. Although not quite pronounced, most kids of famous celebrities do tend to head on the same industry that their parents earned their fame and money from. Andre the Giant and Robin Christensen-Roussimoff
Robin has not had a very good relationship with her dad, French wrestler and Princess Bride actor Andre the Giant, and yet, many years after his death, she is doing everything possible to keep his legacy and memory alive by representing him at various Comi Cons, WWE events and documentary screenings. Her earliest memory of meeting her “absentee” dad was at a clinic where they were getting a paternity test done. After the test was positive, he eventually accepted that he had fathered her with her mother, Jean Christensen, who used to work in PR for wrestling events. The very last time Robin spoke to her father was during Christmas of 1992, as Andre passed away in January of 1993 due to heart failure in Paris, just after he attended his father’s funeral.
