Comedian actor Don Knotts is best known for playing Barney Fife in The Andy Griffith Show, and his daughter, Karen Knotts, clearly inherited her father’s talent. Karen also became a comedic actress, but she said she often fought with her father because he didn’t want her to enter the same industry he was in, saying that it was not a life he wanted his child to have. Karen persisted, though, and once she was in, her father gave her his 100% support.
