As the son of acting and singing duo Shirley Jones and Jack Cassidy, people expected Shaun Cassidy to also join his parent’s profession, so he did not disappoint. He is best known for his roles in the television series The Hardy Boys Mysteries, General Hospital and Breaking Away.
As a teen star, he released two very successful albums, but his following one didn’t fare as well as the others. As time went on he moved his focus from being in front of the camera to working behind the scenes, as he started creating, producing and writing TV series, some of which are American Gothic, Roar and Invasion
