Gord Downie – Passed Away At Age 53
Gord Downie was part of Canada’s national identity due to his songs about hockey and small towns as lead singer and songwriter of iconic rock band The Tragically Hip. He died at the age of 53 from brain cancer on Oct. 17, 2017.
