Aretha Franklin – Passed Away At Age 76
Aretha Franklin, music’s ‘Queen of Soul’, sadly lost her battle with advanced pancreatic cancer on August 16, 2018. The well-known singer was 76 when she passed away, but she kept doing what she was always passionate about, singing and performing even in her senior years. Lately she had to cancel music engagements because of her illness, though, which made her fans fear for the worst. A few of her most notable hits are Chain of Fools, (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman, and her anthem, Respect.
