Alice Playten – Passed Away At Age 63
Playten was an American actress and singer who has been dubbed Obie one, since she won the Obie Award for Distinguished Performance in National Lampoons Lemings. She passed away at the Sloan-Kettering Hospital in New York City due to heart failure. Before this she had suffered from a lifetime of juvenile diabetes which had been complicated by pancreatic cancer.
