A Piece Of Forgotten History: You Won’t Believe These Rare Photos Found Inside an Old Camera!

Last Photo of the Titanic Above Water

The sinking of the RMS Titanic in 1912 is a well-known fact in history, especially after the film by James Cameron came out in 1997.  This photo was taken by Francis Browne, an Irish Jesuit priest, who had to disembark at Cobh (formerly Queenstown), Ireland, because his superiors asked him to return to his station through a note.  Although we all know that the Titanic sank after it hit an iceberg, rumors about its intentional sinking due to insurance fraud also circulated.  One of the prominent people who perished when the Titanic went down was real estate investor and builder, John Jacob Astor IV, the richest man in the world during that period.
