Real Madrid and Liverpool footballer Steve McManaman left the Spanish capital in 2005 to move to Manchester City, and in 2008 commissioned the building of this Cheshire mansion. After many years in this property, he re-listed his home for around £7 million recently.
It sits on an acre of a private plot, and has 7 bedrooms, indoor swimming pool, gym, a secluded garden, personal bar, and plenty of photos of John Lennon to remind Steve of his roots. There’s even a separate annex which has another entire apartment.
