Ed Begley Jr. has appeared in over a hundred stage performances, films, and television shows, one of them is a Happy Days episode titled The Deadly Dares. The actor was the son of Oscar-winning film actor Ed Begley, who was incidentally an environmentalist. To honor his father, Begley Jr. became ‘green’ himself, adopting environmentally friendly practices such as riding a bike instead of driving a car and using biodegradable products. His house in Southern California was built to be environment friendly and was declared Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum.
