Prince – Died April 21, 2016
Prince was one of the most beloved musical stars of the 70’s up to his death in 2016, as well as one of the best performers that the world has ever seen. It was with a huge amount of grief that his sudden death from a drug overdose was met. He was actually in the middle of a tour when it happened. Just 2 weeks prior, he postponed his performances because he wasn’t feeling well. He spent some time in the hospital and was later seen and photographed on the streets a few days later. On April 20th, Prince’s team sought advice from a drug addiction specialist who was meant to see on the 22nd. However, it was too late as he overdosed on fentanyl the very next day.
