Did you know that during ancient times, an hour did not last for 60 minutes like today? We’re not talking about daylight savings time or something like that.  The ancient Romans did not divide each day by 24 hours like we do today. It is said that the length of the day would change with every changing season.  During summer, an hour lasted for about 72 minutes, while it was shorter in the winter, when an hour was only around 44 minutes.
