Shelley Long – Overdosed on painkillers
Shelley Long is best recognized for her role as Diane Chambers in Cheers, which won her several awards, including two Golden Globes. However, her career has all but fizzled out since then, now only occasionally appearing in small roles for various film and television productions. She made headlines in 2004 when she overdosed on painkillers, but she was thankfully able to recover.
