The late Alex Trebek was tremendously talented at what he did. Why else would the game show Jeopardy! hire him to host it continuously since 1984 until his death in 2020! In fact, the Canadian native had just renewed his contract until 2022, but pancreatic cancer caused his death at age 80. In his last days, he continued working and was said to have been paid $10 million a year for his hosting duties. At the time of his passing, he was worth a good $70 million.
