As the head of the second largest firm in the US, Koch Industries, David Koch was one wealthy man, earning profits (all $110 billion of it!) from transportation, food and the clothing industry. Although he stepped down as the executive vice president in 2018 due to health reasons, in 2019, Koch was ranked the 11the most richest person in the world, and had tied with his brother Charles for the spot, with the vast fortune of $50.5 billion. The well-known philanthropist, sadly, passed away in 2019, after a prolonged illness.
