Roy Harold Scherer Jr., more popularly known as actor Rock Hudson, was very popular during the 50s and 60s. He’s most known for films like Giant, where he starred alongside James Dean and Elizabeth Taylor, and the romantic comedy Pillow Talk, where he acted opposite Doris Day. The actor passed away a month short of his 61st birthday in 1985, due to an AIDS-related illness. Hudson left behind a $22 million estate and it still receives money from his royalties. He is said to have allocated more money in trust funds for various charities.
