When U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh was asked for financial disclosure in 2017, he listed his assets to be worth $65,000. According to some reports, the amount of his assets could make him one of the poorest of the Supreme Court justices, should he be elected. However, sources claim that an asset that was not disclosed was Kavanaugh’s Chevy Chase, Maryland home that he and his wife bought in 2006 for $1.2 million. Now that he has the hefty title of Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States attached to his name, his paycheck is said to be hefty, too.
