Bill Russell is a decorated NBA legend who played as the center for the team the Boston Celtics from 1954 to 1969. The retired athlete is one of the most decorated NBA players and has won 5 MVP awards, and 11 NBA championships throughout his 13-year career. He also served as the US basketball team captain in the 1956 Summer Olympics, and was inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame in 1975. He then turned head coach (the first African-American to do so) for the Celtics and led them to two NBA title wins. He is said to be worth $10 million.
