William Holden certainly has come a long way since appearing as the adorable ladies man in the Hepburn-starring film Sabrina when he appeared in The Wild Bunch. His character in the said film, Pike Bishop, is one of the most savage characters ever created for Western cinema. Because of living a life of crime has made Bishop’s character stripped of morality, and Holden has played the part very well and make him seem incredibly life-like. Well, he didn’t win the Academy Award for Best Actor in 1953 for nothing.
