It has been said that making it big in Hollywood is hard, maintaining a successful and happy marriage is harder. Ron Howard and Cheryl Howard have one of the longest surviving marriages in Hollywood, as they have been married for 43 years now. The famous director feels he is very lucky to have met his wife when they were just teenagers. They got married in 1975 when they were both in college. Although Ron didn’t graduate, Cheryl has a degree in geriatric psychology and is a writer today. She has also appeared in some of Ron’s films, including Splash and A Beautiful Mind.
