Plane Mishap
One fateful day in June of 2000, Patrick Swayze got his fans really nervous when he was involved in a plane crash. The actor was a licensed pilot and he usually flew around safely in his 1978 Cessna plane. Apparently, Patrick felt that something was wrong with his plane mid-flight but luckily, he was able to make an emergency landing in Prescott Valley, Arizona, and he sustained no injuries at all. A scandal followed, because some witnesses claimed that Swayze was drunk when his plane crashed, and he even asked them to help him get rid of the beer bottles stashed inside his plane. These claims were never proven, and no charges were filed against the actor.
