Before the Last Curtain Call- See The Last On-Screen Performances from Hollywood Greats Before they Died
Gregory Peck – Moby Dick
Gregory Peck is considered to be one of the biggest Hollywood stars of three major decades of cinema, the 40s, 50s, and 60s. He’s best remembered for the 1962’s classic film To Kill a Mockingbird, where he played lawyer Atticus Finch. The role won Peck the Academy Award for Best Actor for that year. The actor once played the role of Captain Ahab in the 1956 Moby Dick film. Incidentally, it was in the 1998 version of the film, playing the role of Father Mapple, that would be Peck’s last screen appearance before he died at the age of 87.
