These Famous British Stars are Still Alive and Kickin’
Craig Douglas, 79 Years Old
Way back in the ‘50s and ‘60s a young English bloke was making huge waves in the British pop scene with his songs ‘Only Sixteen’ (which even outsold the original track) and ‘Our Favorite Melodies.’ In 1961, he would enter the contest A Song for Europe, but did not fare well.
Sadly, Craig’s last entry into the charts would come in 1963, and he has been flying under the radar since. He still performs at cruise ships and night clubs, after he stopped touring the UK and abroad in 2010. We’re happy to see him doing well!
