The 90s was a decade that introduced its generation to many unusual fashion trends, one of which is the slap bracelet. It was a big thing in schools, especially among the little kids and everyone just had to have them. Kids even collected these bands and were also given out for free by restaurants and companies, as promotional merchandise. They’re oh-so colorful and fun to put on. You slap them on the wrist and it secures itself by wrapping around snugly. Nonetheless they were banned at schools later on, because apparently they could injury to the wrist.
