Carole Baskin – Married to Howard Baskin (~ 18 Years)
When the explosive Netflix documentary Tiger King was released in 2020, Carol Baskin, CEO of Big Cat Rescue, emerged as a villain and an extremely entertaining character. It was well known then that her first husband, Lewis had mysteriously disappeared in 1997.
In 2002, she attended a party thrown for a new animal rescue organization, and met retired management consultant Howard Baskin there, who later agreed to be Chairman of her non-profit advisory board. The pair got married in 2004, and he was dressed as a tiger and walked to the venue wearing a leash held by Carole! Wow!
