You may all know her for portraying the goth character of Abby Sciuto on the hit TV series NCIS, but did you know that Pauley is also an author, civil rights activist and singer? This widely talented actress was actually studying for a master’s degree in the subject of criminal sciences but left midway to start a career in acting. Life came full circle when she was cast in the biggest role of her life as a forensic scientist in the crime-based show, NCIS. Now, at 50, she is still acting and can be seen in various movies and TV shows. She was recently in the news for vaguely suggesting that she left NCIS after “multiple physical assaults.” The actress became engaged to British Royal Marine Thomas Arklie back in 2011, but the wedding hasn’t pushed through yet.
