When Gerald McRaney, the husband of actress Delta Burke, won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his role of Dr. Nathan Katowskia in This is Us, he couldn’t help but reminisce about his their first date back in 1987, as they had actually met at the Emmys! Burke shared that on their second date, McRaney decided to propose to her. Two years later, in 1989, they got married and have been together ever since.
